The Hills Country Club Lakeway Men's Golf Association (LMGA) is an organization for men who would like to experience some fun and "friendly competition."  The LMGA plays every Monday at Yaupon with Tee Times beginning at 12:00 PM with a limit of 44 participants who sign up first and plays every Thursday at Live Oak with a Shotgun Start beginning at 9:00 AM during Daylight Savings Time and 9:00 AM during Standard Time.  There are also Saturday events twice each month.  Any LMGA member may play in any event, weekday or weekend.  There are no participant limits on the Thursday or Saturday events.

Annual dues are $40. Entry fees are $10 for the Monday and Thursday tour events and $25 for the Saturday tour event. Every event awards prizes. There is also an optional skins game at each event.

The goal of the LMGA is to promote camaraderie among our membership by hosting golf events on weekdays and weekends at Live Oak and Yaupon throughout the year. 

 

There are over 300 members participating in the LMGA and new members are actively recruited daily. If you would like to join, simply sign up with one of the Club Pros at Live Oak and Yaupon or contact any member of our executive committee.  Cost is $40 for the year to join our team. 

 

Byron Van Arsdale is the Vice President - Weekday and is responsible for planning games for LMGA weekday members. 

 

Robert Knaus is the Treasurer.  Bob is responsible for membership dues and overseeing the spending programs. 

 

Jerry Stauffer is the Secretary and General Council

 

Jim McCausey is the Vice President - Weekend and is responsible for Weekend Play. JIm  will plan and execute our various Saturday games throughout the year.
